My name is John Crist with  Prestizia Insurance.   I have a bachelor's degree in marketing and a Minor in Management from Louisiana Tech University.  I have been in the property and casualty industry for over 28 years.  I am the President and owner of Prestizia Capital Group Inc.

I am getting this certification to understand what business coaching is, what it is not, and how business coaching services work with other business services. I also want to understand why business owners and executive hire business coaches.  I would like to learn how to use seminars/presentations as an effective way to obtain clients.  Thanks

I will use the newfound knowledge to help to grow my organization and to help improve employee morale.  I will also share the knowledge with family, friends, customers and audience.   I will also be using this knowledge to grow my other  businesses and any other opportunities I may explore.

Superb, John. Getting this certification is laudable as much research shows the positive effects including: International Coaching Federation notes companies investing in coaching is 7 times the initial investment; a Manchester Inc. study showed executives with a coach saw an average ROI of 5.7 times the cost of coaching; Harvard Business Review reports 86% of companies report they recouped their investment in coaching with 70% noting improved performance and leaders with coaching show a 60% improvement in goal attainment; Gallup found leaders with coaching were 21% more effective and had 25% less turnover rates; leaders with coaching improved their effectiveness by up to 40% based on org leadership assessments; and the Corporate Leadership Council showed leaders with coaching improved key competencies up to 35% more than those without. Bottom line, leaders with coaches are typically 30-70% more effective in critical areas of leadership performance.

@infoprestiziainsurance-comHey John, it’s great to continue the CPBL journey with you! With your extensive experience in P&C and running your own company, I’m sure you bring a wealth of insight to this module. Your focus on understanding business coaching and how it complements other services is really interesting—especially the seminar approach for client acquisition. Looking forward to learning alongside you!
