Welcome to an exciting 8-week journey of discovery, growth, and transformation! I’m thrilled to be your instructor for Certified Professional Business Leader 401: Leadership. Together, we’ll explore what it truly means to lead yourself, your teams, and your organization with clarity, courage, and integrity.
We will meet weekly on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM EST, with one important exception: our first class will meet on Tuesday, July 8th at 5:00 PM EST due to my travel constraints. Please mark your calendars accordingly!

Previous students have described this course as a series of leadership epiphanies. Much of what we’ll cover may feel familiar, but we’ll bring the science behind the practice, helping you elevate your leadership to a whole new level.

Quick Syllabus Overview:

Weekly rhythm: Monday–Sunday course week structure, with Talkboards, Independent Studies, and readings/videos.

Key tools: Northouse’s Leadership: Theory and Practice (9th ed.), plus various articles and videos.

Major deliverables: Weekly Talkboard and Independent Study posts, and two Capstone Projects building your BTP.

Grading: Talkboards (35%), Independent Studies (30%), Capstone Projects (35%).
