My name is John Crist and I would like to say hello to everyone in this class. I am the President and Founder of American Insurance Solutions Services, LLC and Prestizia Capital Group, Inc. I have devoted over 30 years to helping businesses, families and corporations transform their insurance and financial challenges into reality.
I reside in Mesquite, Texas with my wife, Rhonda. We have been married for 3 years. I have a BS in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University and spent 12 years in the Army National Guard. I enjoy sports, experiencing new ventures, personal development, business growth, and entertainment.
Leadership Position:
In my role as the Director of the agency, I have learned that being in a leadership position requires being multifaceted when dealing with people. I must have a vision and strategy that employees will understand and follow. It is important to develop a relationship, get to know your employees and to be able to inspire and motivate. One must adequately communicate with them so there will be no misunderstanding in the diverse culture in today’s society.
Leadership Aspirations in the Next 3 Years:
I am looking forward to new aspirations. I am looking forward to being a coach and speaker to help individuals and organizations unlock their potential and inspire growth in each area of their lives.
Success Indicators in My Role:
I have started insurance agencies from scratch and grew them to 5-to-8-million-dollar agencies. I have provided jobs for employees and have given them opportunities for life-long skills. Success in my role is protecting families, businesses, and communities year after year. The smiles, the referrals, the thank you from families, businesses, contractors, and communities have been the most delightful part of what our business stands for and the services we provide.
