- What score did you receive and why? I am Actively Engaged at a score of 60 and an Independent Thinker at a score of 57.
- What did you learn about yourself because of taking this survey? It wasn't a surprise to me in the scoring, however it did make me reflect on areas that I had to apply specific focus to throughout my career to apply the followership principles, specifically when expressing a view or solution that might differ and could potentially cause conflict. What I learned to apply was viewing things from the leaders perspective, their goals, style and how my potential solution or view related to the overall organizational goals.
- What modifications or enhancements will you make to be a better team leader in the workplace? This survey was a great reminder of the areas I must continue to be aware of as a solopreneur. As a professional business coach, I am not a team leader, rather I help clients uncover solutions, work thru obstacles and not rush to provide a solution to whatever issue is facing the client. That being said, as a member of the PBCA and DPC I use many of my followership principles to contribute to an already productive environment.
