What score did you receive and why?
My scores from the Authentic Leadership Self-Assessment were:

  • Self-Awareness: 18
  • Internalized Moral Perspective: 14
  • Balanced Processing: 16
  • Relational Transparency: 15

These results show that I’m strong in self-awareness and thoughtful in considering different perspectives, but there’s room to grow in consistently aligning my actions with my values and being more open in how I communicate. I think these scores reflect how I approach leadership—I try to understand myself and others well, but I don’t always share as much about my feelings or take as strong a stance as I could.

What did you learn about yourself because of taking this survey?
Taking this survey made me realize I’m good at understanding my strengths and limitations and listening to others, especially when we don’t see eye to eye. However, I also saw areas where I could improve. For example, I could be more transparent about my emotions and beliefs in the workplace. While I value integrity, I don’t always communicate my stance on challenging issues.

What modifications or enhancements will you make to be a better adaptable leader in the workplace?
To grow as a leader, I want to focus on being more open and transparent with my team, especially about my values and experiences. I’ll also work on making sure my actions always reflect my core beliefs, even under pressure. Inviting more feedback is another priority—it’s something I know will help me see blind spots and improve. Lastly, I want to get better at owning my mistakes when they happen, which I know can strengthen trust and accountability within my team.

These small but intentional changes will help me become a more adaptable and authentic leader.

Keith, what an excellent analysis and reflection of your Moral Perspective Score. Transparency is integral to Authenticity, and I'm thrilled you made that connection.  And expressing your values openly with your team, especially with challenging issues, will enhance your leadership draw. Great job!
